Sinus Infection

I went to the dr's yesterday and she held onto my snout and looked up my nose! What in the world could she have been looking for up there? Anyway, she said my sinuses are infected. Not sure what that means, but I know when I got home mom gave me more of the homemade chicken noodle soup she made for me and she tossed in a couple of blue things. She called them ant eye bye otics. I swallowed them pretty fast with all of the noodles and green beans and chicken. It was delicious!

So, I guess I will keep you posted bout my nose and the weather. I'm hoping for more snow because mine almost all melted yesterday. I'm kinda bummed. I didn't feel like playing in it so much because I didn't feel that good. I guess there's always next winter.

We got more snow! Ahwoooooooooooooooo! Here's a few pics of us enjoying it. I've got a possible upper respiratory infection, so mom's not letting me out of her sight. Says I gotta go to the doctor's tomorrow to see Dr. Osterholm. I don't mind though, I really like her. She sits on the floor with me and calls me her baby. It's nice gettin loved by everyone.

And a Tigger makes THREE!

My mom and dad have company for the next couple of weeks and that means that so do I. The company is my mom's parents (humans, of course) and the Yellow Lab who owns them, Tigger.

They went to North Dakota to visit our human great grandmother, so Tigger stayed here with us for the week. She's a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures of her. I hope that you enjoy them.

She's been sad, but I'm doing my best to keep her company. I even let her sleep on the couch with me!

Mom is spreadin the word...

Mom just invited her friend Jason and the pooch who owns him, Snorty, to check out the blog for dogs. Maybe Jason will let Snorty use the computer sometime to get his own blogspot set up! Keep your paws crossed everypup!

Oh, Smokey had a tumor removed last Friday and we found out tonight that it wasn't cancerous. Mom said she was happy but she was crying. Chicks, who can figure them out?!

Anyhoo, welcome to Jason and Snorty!

Happy Howlidays Everypup!

Happy Howlidays Everypup!

Hope you had a great day and got lots of fun presents. We got a new wubba kong. Mom calls me wubby, so it was a great gift. I really liked it a lot. Did you catch that? LIKED it. I have already managed to chew off all of the dangly things and have removed the small end of it too. I guess it wasn't made for aggressive chewers like me.

The other toy we got has bright colored ropes. I untied one of them, but mom tied it back together real tight so now I can't undo it.

I'll post pictures soon but they're still inside the camera (that's what mom says).

I hope you all have a Yappy New Year!

Cold weather and snow....

It's officially winter. It's nice and cold outside and there are a few flakes of snow drifting down to the ground. I wish there was a lot more snow so I could play in it.

Do you have snow where you are? Can I come play in it with you? Please?
How can you say no to this face?
Kel

Ahhh, the glow of Christmas lights...

Hurrrroooo everypup,
Tonight mom decided to decorate. All of the sudden there was an outdoor tree on the inside! It doesn't smell like a real outdoor tree though, so I must believe that it is made of the stuff my toys are made of, I think it's called plastic.

So, here are some pictures of Smokey and I with holiday cheer.

We couldn't figure out which one of us should be Santa and which one would be Santa's little helper. I obviously look amazing in either hat, but Smokey only in Santa's hat.

I would think that the "helper" would get to play more while Santa makes the naughty or nice list, so I'm hoping to be the helper. I think I would like less of the 'sponsibility.

Let me know what you think.

Sunday but no snow

Hurroooo everypup!

Well, no snow. Not even one stinking flake! I don't know what to do with myself!

So, here's how I spent my Sunday. I woke up. I ate breakfast. I pooped (sorry, TMI). I napped. I woke up and barked at the neighbor for a second. I napped. I stretched out and found a new place to nap.

When will the snow come?

Cold Weather...

Well, the cold weather is here, but no snow so far. I really hope it snows soon. I've got a lot of fluffy fur and it keeps me nice and warm so I can be outside playing.

Anyway, come on snow!

Kelsey

Seriously?

It's been over a YEAR? I gotta figure out where all of that time went! I am using the new laptop that mom and dad got from my other mommy, and I really like it. The last year has been a busy one. I've been staying out of trouble (not eating stuff that I'm not sposed to). I am on a new diet and take medication for it called Slentrol. It's working wonders too. I'm down to 95 pounds. Still more than I should be but it's a far cry from the 121 I was at.

I had to go to the hospital awhile back. Mom and dad thought I'd had a stroke. I couldn't move. I couldn't stand. Nothing. Turns out, I had a swollen disc in my back and after a few days locked in a kennel at the hospital, the swelling went away and I could run and play again. I could tell mom was pretty scared because she was crying and had wet stuff coming out of her eyes.

Smokey is doing well too. We just hang out on our new beds.

I will do better at blogging, so check back and see what we're up to.

I'm back, and in trouble for bein gone for soooo long...

Hellooooo all dogs!

I feel as though I must be in a world of trouble for not checking in. It's been crazy around here, as usual. HOWEVER, this time nobody is sick or havin surgery or losing teeth. Just normal busy stuff.

The weather is getting cooler, so that means that the white fluffy snow must be just around the corner. I can hardly wait to go out and play in it and plant my nose deep into it. It smells so crisp and clean.

How are all of you doing? I have enjoyed reading your posts recently.

I will get a hold of the computer tonight and post some pictures. I have a lot of them that are new and I hope you all enjoy them.

Talk to you all tonight,

Kelsey

My apologies for my absence.

I have been gone for far too long...again... Seems to be a trend around here. Things get going nice and smooth, and then BAM! it all breaks loose.

School started so my boy is gone a lot more. I got used to him being home during the day with us. Oh well, now we can sleep without being bothered.

I got tagged for quite a few things. I am to woo about my humans. I'm going to have a difficult time with this since every time I turn around, my humom is taking me to the hospital and they make me fall asleep and when I wake up I'm in pain.

Just yesterday, we went to the hospital and when I woke up, a tooth was missing! My big long fang on the left side is gone! Where did it go? I dunno. I know my mouth hurts and I had a seizure and I keep falling down, but I don't know where my tooth is!

Mom says I look handsome without it, but I'm not convinced.

Dad is awesome cuz he plays with me a lot. He will get down on the floor and wrestle with me and run around the coffee table chasing me so I run too. It's a lot of fun.

Mom is pretty nice and she's always askin me for huggies and kisses. I get really excited when she does this and I dance around the room, bark, and jump on her before I give in. It's fun to see her laugh.

My foster mom, Janice, is really sweet. She still comes to visit me really often, which I love. If she hadn't taken me from the place in Misery, I would be a goner rigt now. I love her so much! She plays with me and brings me treats too!

Smokey isn't a human, but he's sure a good brother. We play tug of war and also run around the back yard together. It's a lot of fun.

Thank you all for being patient about me blogging. The humans moved the computer and I couldn't get to it. It's back in it's rightful place now though, so we're good to go.

Woo's to all,
Kelsey

Here's some new pics of us enjoying the sunshine. I hope that you all enjoy them.

Dad poured out the ice cubes from the freezer for us to enjoy. He calls them a "no calorie snack" and we enjoy them. OK, I sleep on them, but they're awesome!

My tummy fur is still gone, but as you can see, I am happy and HEALTHY finally.

I hope you're all enjoying your summer!

Silly Human Boy

Silly human boy was taking advantage of my tiredness last night. Mom took us two fur balls for a walk and when we got home, I was tired and wanted to sleep. I took advantage of the shiny slick floor in the room with the food and found the perfect spot (where you ask? In the middle of the room of course).

He must have thought it would be fun to put cans of pop on me and I was honestly too tired to get up and bite him, so I let him do it. As you can see in the pictures, Smokey did absolutely nothing to help me. He just watched. Mom took pictures and laughed.

I'm glad I'm amusing.

Someone should tell Smokey that he's next!
Bark at ya later!

Nothing much to say

I don't really have much to talk about today, but got a moment when the humans were off the computer so I could post.

I found my humans camera. She apparently went to the park without me. I overheard her saying something about geese and ducks and I nearly passed out. Why wasn't I there to chase them? Um hello, I like large running scared birds too.

Anyway, here are a couple of pictures I found in her camera. Hopefully next time she decides to play with feathery friends at the park, I get to go too.

I got tagged...

Well, Holly tagged me, so here goes...

1. I enjoy leather products. This is (was) dad's wallet. As you can see, it's not so much able to hold any green paper stuffs anymore. Haha. Score -Canine 1 Human-0

2. I have a brother that I really enjoy hanging out with. He sits funny on the sofa sometimes though and I caught him for this next picture. Enjoy. What's with the crazy leg?

3.I have learned that when eating a food that is not dry mixed with a food that is dry, somtimes things get stickted to things they're not sposed to. Take for example pumpkin from a can and dry dog food. Normally you could eat the two and not have any mishaps. HOWEVER, as you can see from the next photo, the pumkin got stuck to my nose and then the dry food stuck in the pumkin on my nose. Mom found this to be quite funny (easy to please aren't they?) so I added it to my list of 7 things about me.

#4 I have decided that I look best when I'm on my side. As in the photo you're about to see. Mom seems to love, and I mean LOVE, to kiss me when I am obviously at my cutest.

5. I'm curious bout the hair on my tummy growing back. Seriously, how long does this take? The human woman is still kissing my tummy! It's gotten a little insane and must stop! Luckily enough, I've got a very cute pink (um hello? I'm a boy, what's with the pink????) tummy.

6. I am getting stronger each and every day. My mom has made sure to get me only the best of foods and more TLC than I ever imagined one boy could have. Healing time was cut in half. Ok, I'll give props to mom. Score -Canine 1 Human 1/2

and #7 In the hot summer months, nothing makes me happier than a cooler full of ice cubes and water. Sometimes I climb in and dig around with my feet. It's fun for me and the humans hate it. Oh wait a second, that makes the score different.
Score - Canine 2 Human 1/2

Hmmm, I think maybe the canine's have won!

I'm going to tag Sitka and Tia, Girl Girl, Opy, and Dusty Doodles.
I'm so glad I got to hear from you all!
Have a great AND SAFE Memorial Day weekend!
Hugs and Drool,

Kelsey and Smokey

HurooooOOOooOooOoOoooOOOooooo!

Hurrooooo everyone!

Well, it's been a few weeks and I haven't eaten a single thing that I'm not sposed to. My human mom even went out and bought a new purse and wallet. She must not trust me because they don't come into the house. She leaves them in the van.

My fur isn't growing back and mom's found a new way to humiliate me. She calls it a zerbert. She gets down on the floor with me and puts her mouth on my shaved tummy and blows air out and it tickles a lot and makes a funny noise. She hasn't realized yet that I am not amused by this, so she does it frequently and then she laughs and giggles. How can I tell her that this behavior isn't funny? I don't want to hurt her feelings, but the other dogs in the neighbood are snickering at me. Any ideas?

I'm feeling really good lately and have more and more energy. Still not 100% but am pretty close to 98%.

I am still working on getting those pics on here for you all to enjoy, but the computer had some issues and the humans are taking their time with getting all the programs reloaded. I'm not sure what that means, but I know that it means I can't get pictures in there.

I will talk to you all soon!

Have a great mother's day!

Love,
Kel
